- Our Nano hydroxyapatite has a particle size of 60nm. Only rod shaped morphology is established as safe. EU consumer safety performed an 8 year intensive study on hydroxyapatite with a team of 11 toxicologists. They originally endorsed less than 0.5% in mouthwash and 10 % in toothpaste for safety. More than 10 percent is indicated to have no added benefit. I.E 1% shown 70% as effective as 10%. Too much can also clog the enamel pores and prevent blanced mineral uptake neccesary for remineralization, or it can aggregate and become toxic/scratch enamel! More is not better. Plus not all types of Nano HP have the same effectiveness.
- It is not just about concentration with Nano HP, but it is also about solubilty. Nano HP is insoluble even at 30 nm it still settles, and then tends to reaggregate into bigger crystals and different structures. Every other company I know of uses Nano HP treated with a chemical or buffered by polymer (plastic) to create the suspension/gel. Most products use potassium chloride, which in their case causes exposed negative ions on the crystals which then repluse from one another electrostatically. The surface of the tooth = negative charge, so that Nano HP needs an extra calcium ion from somehwere in order to bind.

- We dont use synthetic polymer (plastic based ) hydroxyapatite gels or chemically induced suspensions. We apply the most cutting edge approach to incubating our hydroxyapatite. Naturally structured hydrogels create high solubility (natural polysaccharide based) for high porosity n-HA. A high percentage is not needed.
